SUB DISTRICT LEVEL SCIENCE FEST

As part of the Chavara Sub- district level Science Fest held in Guhanandhapuram, Kollam , I was assigned invigilation duty to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of events and competitions. My role involved monitoring participants, maintaining discipline, and providing necessary assistance to organizers. It was a fulfilling experience to support young minds showcasing their scientific talents.

SERVICE DAY( GANDHI JAYANTHI)

In honor of Gandhi Jayanthi, our college organized a Service Day, reflecting Mahatma Gandhi's ideals of selfless service and community well-being. The day began with a campus cleaning drive, where students and staff worked together to promote cleanliness, embodying the principles of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Various activities such as tree planting, Cleaning campus etc highlighted the event. Through these acts of service, we paid tribute to the Father of the Nation and reaffirmed our commitment to his vision of a cleaner, kinder, and more inclusive society.

SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAM

The five-day induction program (school visit) to Krist Raj HSS, Kollam as part of our B.Ed course was an enriching and insightful experience. It provided us with a practical glimpse into the school environment and the day-to-day responsibilities of a teacher. During the visit, we observed senior teachers conducting classes, which offered us valuable insights into effective teaching methods, classroom management techniques, and student engagement strategies.

We also had the opportunity to conduct short teaching sessions, allowing us to apply our theoretical knowledge in a real classroom setting. Interacting with students and handling lessons independently was both challenging and rewarding, helping us build confidence and refine our teaching skills. The program also included discussions with senior teachers, where they shared their experiences and tips for effective teaching.

Overall, the induction program laid a strong foundation for our journey as future educators, blending observation and hands-on practice to prepare us for the teaching profession.
