Pi day celebration by Mathematics Department

The Mathematics Department of our B.Ed college celebrated Pi Day with great enthusiasm, bringing together fun and learning in a unique way. The event featured an engaging game - Pi recitation challenge,  highlighting the significance of π in mathematics and real life. Students actively participated in games , making the celebration both educational and entertaining. The program concluded with an inspiring speech on the beauty of mathematics, leaving everyone with a deeper appreciation for this fascinating constant.

The 78th Independence Day celebrations at our B.Ed college were filled with patriotism and pride. The day began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by cultural performances. Students and faculty participated with great enthusiasm, delivering speeches and  songs that paid tribute to our freedom fighters. The event was a reminder of the sacrifices made for our freedom and the responsibility we carry as future educators to instill the values of independence, diversity, and unity in the next generation.

SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAM

The five-day induction program (school visit) to Krist Raj HSS, Kollam as part of our B.Ed course was an enriching and insightful experience. It provided us with a practical glimpse into the school environment and the day-to-day responsibilities of a teacher. During the visit, we observed senior teachers conducting classes, which offered us valuable insights into effective teaching methods, classroom management techniques, and student engagement strategies. We also had the opportunity to conduct short teaching sessions, allowing us to apply our theoretical knowledge in a real classroom setting. Interacting with students and handling lessons independently was both challenging and rewarding, helping us build confidence and refine our teaching skills.
