TEACHING PRACTICE (SEPTEMBER 15 - SEPTEMBER 26)

 I continued taking classes on the chapter Solutions of Equations and started a new chapter new numbers in the 8th standard. The school conducted  Science Fest programmes, and we supported the event by helping with arrangements and guiding students. Along with my regular classes, I also handled substitution periods, which provided additional classroom management experience.

I assisted a few students in preparing for the upcoming Youth Festival, helping them refine their items and boosting their confidence. During this phase,  Physical Education tutor observed one of my classes, where I taught the topic Nutrition for class 8, giving me valuable feedback to improve my teaching strategies.

A Social Science Quiz was conducted for each section in the school, and I took part in organizing and coordinating the event. Written competitions were also held as part of the school kalolsavam. Students were actively preparing for the Sub-district Sports Fest, and we supported them whenever needed.

TEACHING PRACTICE (AUGUST 25 - SEPTEMBER 12)

First week began with the completion of the remaining examinations. Soon after, the school celebrated Onam, and we played an active role in organizing and coordinating the programs. The celebration was made vibrant with various activities such as games, dance performances, group songs, and cultural items. As teacher trainees, we also presented a Thiruvathira performance, and I had the opportunity to anchor the entire event, which strengthened my confidence and stage presence. Throughout the celebration, we monitored both UP and HS students and assisted teachers in ensuring smooth conduct of the programme.

After the Onam vacation, the teaching practice resumed on September 8. During this time, I started a new chapter, Solutions of Equations, in the 8th standard. Along with regular classes, we conducted a conscientization program for the 8th standard students on the theme Road Safety and Accident Prevention. The session aimed to create awareness among students about safe road practices and the importance of following traffic rules.
